We are a team of enthusiastic volunteers rooted to our religion and culture and dedicated towards the sole objective of uplifting our community, by supporting those in need. Our helpline volunteers come from diverse Hindu community who came from India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Fiji, Nepal, Sri Lanka etc. and settled in Australia. We understand the issues faced by Hindu community and are also trained in Sanatan Dharma and cultural sensitivity.

Your details will be kept strictly confidential in accordance with the Australian Privacy Laws and Principles. We will not disclose any information given to us, except in extreme circumstances, as dictated by law. NON-JUDGEMENTAL

We do not judge you for the issues you come up with. You can freely contact us through any mode of communication without any fear of judgment or chastisement. We are here to listen, empathise and support. VHP is a safe place to express your worries or concerns and share your problems. We ensure that you will be heard, and the issue is resolved with our honest efforts.

EMPOWERING

We explore options with you. We also explore the strength within you and empower you to make your own decisions. We believe that people have the right to find their own solutions and we support your rights. Being able to explore your feelings alleviates distress and helps you to reach a better understanding of your situation and the options open to you.

CARING

We are committed to provide relief to the needy and will undertake any other activity to advance general social and public benefits. Core of our work is to promote the principles of Unity in Diversity and multiculturalism in Australia in partnership with the local councils, the Australian Federal and State governments and other not for profit community organisations.
